Contact Us

Messages are typically responded to within two business days.  If confidentiality is a concern, please leave contact information suitable for returned messages.

If you are a new client, please email me at ron@woodspsychologicalservices.ca and include the following:

  • Your name
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Brief description of your concerns that you would like to address in therapy.

**Please Note**

I am NOT currently able to accept any new clients who require evening availability. If you require evenings then I suggest searching for someone with more availability. It is also possible that there may be a bit of a wait list as there are busier and slightly less busier times. I will let people know in my email or phone response if there is a wait list and approximately how long until I can accommodate a new client. A waitlist is only appropriate for those who are not in crisis and are able to wait for an opening in the schedule.

In order to increase the security and privacy of all correspondence, I have switched my email to a more secure platform to store, send, and receive emails. You will notice that emails will now have an additional footer that states, “Secured by Paubox Encrypted Email – HITRUST CSF Certified.” This means that any messages I send, including appointment confirmations, will be encrypted on the way to recipients, and replies from senders will be encrypted en route to my inbox. Therefore you can now reach me at my new email address: ron@woodspsychologicalservices.ca. Please take a moment to update your address book.

For those who use digital platforms for Video sessions or instant messaging, I have also switched to Signal, an App that is HIPAA compliant. It is free and easy to use and necessary now for any who wishes to correspond through those means. After you install the App you simply enter my phone number and you can correspond in that way.

Please allow 2-3 business days for a response. If this is an emergency please call The Crisis Support Centre 24 Hour Distress Line at 780-482-HELP (4357) or proceed to your nearest Hospital Emergency Department or call 911 for immediate assistance.
